Under the direction of the Program Manager, the Residential Monitor is responsible for monitoring the functional operation of the residential program and facility under the supervision of the Program Manager to ensure safety and regulatory compliance. Monitors facilitates supportive interaction with program participants and team members, assessment of participant’s needs, and performance of all work duties as required.

Under the direction of the Program Manager, the Custodial Engineer will be responsible for the daily cleaning, disinfecting and maintenance of temporary and permanent housing facilities and collaborative sites in accordance with regulations set forth by local housing regulatory agencies and Department of Health Services.

Under the supervision of the Program Manager, Drivers are responsible for transporting meals, participants, good and services to and from sites, social supports and benefits related appointments. This includes transporting goods and services and/or clients between housing facilities, social service agencies, hospitals, clinics, potential housing units and program sites in addition to breaking down and storing donated goods and services. Participating in outreach activities.

Under the direction of the Clinical Director, the Licensed Vocational Nurse will provide nursing care to all HALCDC clients, within the LVN scope of practice in a community homeless shelter setting. LVN will be responsible for conducting vital sign observations, administering ordered medications and treatments, and reinforcing the physicians’ instructions to the patients.

Under the direction of the Supervisor/Executive Chef, theExecutive Chef will oversee the daily operations of Home at Last kitchen(s). Executive Chef is responsible for overseeing all aspects of preparing nutritious, good-tasting, and well-presentedmealsfor individuals experiencing homelessness. Executive Chef will attract and retain staff, maintain a cooperative relationship with team members, optimizes staff productivity and serve as replacement in team members’ absence. The Executive Chef will train staff to use new recipes, cooking techniques and equipment, and oversee cooks performing food preparation. Executive Chef will oversee delivery of food supplies and supervise overall kitchen operation.The ideal candidate will also be able to function in a fast-paced, busy environment as a part of a team.

The Sous Chef will work under the supervision of the Executive Chef and Head Chef to oversee food preparation and cooking at HAL. Sous Chef will support in the supervision of food storage, stocking, and kitchen sanitation including:organizing, maintaining and cleaning agency refrigerators, freezers, fryer and pantry.Sous Chef will assist in menu creationand maintenance of quality standards. The Kitchen Prepwill perform kitchen tasks such maintaining cleanliness of all food service areas and preparing workstations, so that food can be prepared according to plan. Kitchen Prep will ensure all kitchen equipment and appliances are ready for use. A Kitchen Prep cook will be quick and diligent and willing to improve on the job. Incumbent will be able to follow instructions as well as all health and safety rules in the kitchen. Under the direction of the Program Manager, the Intake Specialist serves as the first point of contact with guest and conducts eligibility screenings and processes that include: orienting clients on agency services and policies, copying and collecting required compliance documents, completing required forms, and performing data entry in CLARITY and other related clerical activities.

Under the supervision of the Clinical Director, the Mental Health Therapist (MHT) will perform professional clinical services in connection with treatment of mentally ill and emotionally disturbed consumers who are experiencing homelessness. MHT will be responsible for providing individual, family, and/or group therapy as well as participating in multi-disciplinary team meetings. MHT will assist consumers and their significant relational figures in understanding and developing solutions to problems that leads to and results from emotional and mental disturbances. Incumbents of this position will collaborate with housing supportive staff and collaborative partners. MHT will engage in both individual and group supervision.  MHT will provide bio psychosocial assessments and formulate effective treatment plans that correlate with differential diagnosis. Mental Health Therapist will comply with all ethical/legal mandates for reporting; provide psychotherapeutic methods in assessment, implementing treatment plans in order to develop a corresponding progress for various mental disturbances. Mental Health Therapist must be able to ordinate the workday responsibility in order to services clients, attend meeting and participate in trainings.
